Looking for a practical palette comparison
| I am looking for a practical way to photograph skin tone under stable light. My camera keeps adjusting the image before I can compare anything fairly. The setup will be one uncluttered spot with indirect natural light. The comparison should use the same distance without any smoothing or colour filter. I am considering a neutral card in the photo so the light has a visible reference. Repeating the test in similar light seems safer than trusting a single photograph. A skin undertone test camera might be a useful checklist before I compare the photographs side by side. There are obvious limits to comparing colour through a camera and screen. I want to review the photographs slowly before assigning a warm or cool label. What small step has made your own phone photos more consistent? I am especially interested in advice that does not require special equipment. I will avoid changing the setup halfway through the small experiment.
